Installing Shared Contacts for Gmail Add-on
The latest version of our Gmail add-on allows you to share contacts without ever leaving your Gmail. In order to share contacts directly from your Gmail, follow the steps given below:
Open your Gmail and click on the “+” button found on the right side of your window, as shown below
In the newly opened popup, type “Shared Contacts for Gmail” in the search bar and hit Enter key
Now click on the Shared Contacts for Gmail Add-on
Click Install button and allow the permissions to the add-on to install it on your Gmail
When installed, you will see the Shared Contacts for Gmail icon on the right side of your screen
Sharing Contacts Directly from Gmail
Open an email and click on the Shared Contact icon on the right side of your Gmail screen
You will see contact details of recipients and senders in the panel. Check on the desired contacts and click on Add to Labels
Here you can see all the labels or you can create one. Click on any of the labels that you want to share and click on the save button.
Once you have added the contact in a label, you will see a share button appearing next to it.
Click on the share button next to your desired label and enter the desired email address and click on Add Sharing button.
Now you have successfully shared the label from Gmail. But you can also set the permissions by clicking on the contact under Who Has Access tab.
